MacArthur Foundation “Genius Awards”

The Class of 2012 MacArthur Fellows were announced today – worth taking a look at the diversity of genius in our time. Here is Uta Barth, a photographer living here in LA. Coolest part of this whole deal is that once the recipients are given $500,000 — the MacArthur folk say “this is the last time you’ll hear from us”. Now that’s a “no-strings-attached” deal if we ever heard of one.
