We’ve found ’em, two books worthy of your beach read: The Girls by sparkly young novelist Emma Cline took us on the unlikely journey of a young woman caught up in a California cult in the 1960’s. We also loved Before The Fall, a page-turner about a private plane crash off Martha’s Vineyard, written by Noah Hawley, the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning television writer behind Fargo.
We also enjoyed this Wall Street Journal article, “The Secret of Popularity” which distinguishes between “perceived and sociometric” popularity, and offers practical tips for helping kids to play better in the sandbox by promoting empathy in their relationships.
