Pasadena’s 33 year-old Kidspace Museum is already impressive, with its interactive exhibits encouraging younger children to climb and explore their way to learning. With the brand new Robert & Mary Galvin Physics Forest, older elementary-aged kids now have a place to learn the basic laws of physics. The Forest houses 13 interactive exhibits, which kids can poke, pull, and climb to understand how the world around them works. Helpful staff stand guard at each of the 13 stations, ready to answer any and all questions. Of course, the Forest is fun for younger children, too – even parents might learn a surprising fact or two! Beyond the excitement of the exhibit, the area itself is landscaped beautifully, begging visitors to take advantage of the sunny weather and explore the grounds. Do Newton a favor and take your children to the Physics forest – it’s better than shooting an apple off of their heads with an arrow!
