In 2008, a group of close friends, sharing a passion for learning about, creating, and performing music, formed Buyepongo. Since then, they have toured extensively throughout the United States and Mexico. Showcasing the accordion, drum, horns, bass, and guacharaca (a Colombian percussion instrument), Buyepongo delivers irresistable dance beats that transport audiences to the tropics.
